Getting started
How Wolf Funded works, from your first challenge to a funded account.
What is Wolf Funded?
Wolf Funded is a proprietary trading evaluation firm. You prove your skill in a challenge; pass it and you trade a funded account of up to $200,000 and keep 80% of the profit you make. You pay a one-time challenge fee and never risk your own trading capital.
All accounts, including funded accounts, are simulated: you trade a demo environment with real market prices, and we pay your share of the simulated profit as a performance reward.
How does the evaluation work?
Pick a programme and an account size. On a 1-Step challenge you reach a single 10% profit target. On 2-Step and 2-Step Flex you pass two phases (8% then 5%). In every case you must stay inside the drawdown limits and trading rules. Pass, verify your identity, and your funded account is issued.
What happens after I pass?
You receive a funded account and keep trading on the same platform, instruments and rules. Once you meet the payout conditions you can request a payout every 14 days; you keep 80%.
Is there a time limit?
No. Challenges have no deadline. The only requirement is activity: an account with no trading for 30 consecutive days is marked inactive.
Plans & accounts
Account sizes, the three programmes, and which one fits you.
Which account sizes are available?
$10,000 · $25,000 · $50,000 · $100,000 · $200,000 — each available as 1-Step, 2-Step and 2-Step Flex. All accounts are denominated in USD.
What is the difference between 1-Step and 2-Step?
1-Step is the fastest route: one phase, a 10% target, 4% daily and 8% overall drawdown.
2-Step costs less to enter and spreads the work over two phases (8% then 5%) with slightly wider limits: 5% daily and 10% overall.
What is 2-Step Flex?
The same targets, drawdown limits and profit split as 2-Step, with three rules relaxed:
- No minimum trade duration — close a position whenever you like.
- Weekend holding is allowed.
- No limit on stacking same-direction trades on one symbol.
Which programme should I choose?
Choose 1-Step if you want the quickest path and are confident in hitting one target. Choose 2-Step for a lower fee and a steadier two-phase path. Choose 2-Step Flex if your style needs fast scalps, weekend holds or scaling into positions.
Not sure? Many traders start with a smaller 2-Step account to learn the rules, then size up.
Can I hold more than one account?
Yes. You can run several accounts across sizes and programmes, up to $400,000 in combined funded capital.
Trading rules
Drawdown limits and the rules every account follows.
How is the daily drawdown measured?
Your equity may not fall more than 5% (2-Step, Flex) or 4% (1-Step) below your equity at the daily reset, 22:00 UTC. Reaching the limit closes the account.
How is the overall drawdown measured?
It is fixed from your starting balance and does not trail: 10% on 2-Step and Flex, 8% on 1-Step. On a $50,000 2-Step account your equity must stay above $45,000; on a $50,000 1-Step account, above $46,000.
Do I need a stop loss?
Yes. Every position needs a stop loss within 3 minutes of opening.
Is there a risk limit per trade?
On funded accounts, total risk on any one currency pair may not exceed 1% of the balance across all open positions on that pair (risk = distance to stop loss × volume × contract size ÷ balance). During the challenge you size positions yourself within the drawdown limits.
What is the stacking rule?
You may hold at most 3 trades in the same direction on the same symbol at once. 2-Step Flex has no stacking limit.
Is there a minimum trade duration?
Yes — 60 seconds on 1-Step and 2-Step, whether the trade wins or loses. 2-Step Flex has no minimum.
Can I hold positions over the weekend?
Not on 1-Step or 2-Step: close everything by Friday 22:00 UTC; the market reopens Sunday 22:00 UTC. 2-Step Flex allows weekend holding.
Can I trade the news?
No trades may be opened or closed from 10 minutes before to 10 minutes after high-impact releases such as NFP, CPI and central-bank rate decisions. This applies to every programme.
Which trading styles are allowed?
Scalping, day trading and swing trading are all welcome. Not allowed:
- High-frequency trading and latency arbitrage
- Hedging across accounts
- Exploiting platform or pricing errors
- Trading inside the news window, or holding over the weekend (except on 2-Step Flex)
Are Expert Advisors allowed?
During the challenge, yes, as long as they follow every rule. Funded accounts must be traded manually.
What happens if I break a rule?
Hitting the daily or overall drawdown limit, sharing your account or using a prohibited strategy closes the account immediately. For the other rules (stop loss, minimum trade duration, stacking, weekend holding, news window, risk per pair (funded)) you get one written warning per account; a second violation closes it.
You can start a new challenge at any time — plenty of funded traders passed on a later attempt.
Payouts
Profit split, payout conditions and how you get paid.
What is the profit split?
You keep 80% of the profit on your funded account. There are no subscription fees or other deductions.
How is my payout calculated?
80% of net profit. Example: a $100,000 account grown to $105,000 has $5,000 profit, so your payout is $4,000.
When am I eligible for a payout?
A trading day is a day on which you open or close at least one trade; an active trading day is a day on which you hold at least one open position. To request a payout you need:
- At least 1% profit
- 10 active trading days
- 5 trading days
- 3 profitable trading days
- No single day above 35% of total profit (consistency rule)
- No open rule violations
How does the consistency rule work?
When you request a payout, your best profitable day may not exceed 35% of your total profit. Example: $1,000 total profit with a best day of $300 is 30% — eligible. If the best day was $400 (40%), keep trading until total profit reaches about $1,143, where $400 is 35%.
Losing days lower your total profit but not your best day, so keep daily risk even.
Is there a minimum or maximum payout?
The minimum is 1% of your starting balance — the same as the profit threshold, so $1,000 on a $100,000 account. There is no maximum: you can withdraw your full 80% share in one request.
How often and how fast are payouts?
You can request a payout every 14 days once eligible. Approved requests are paid within 24 hours.
How will I be paid?
Bank / wire transfer or Crypto (USDT, BTC, ETH). Crypto usually arrives faster.
How do I request a payout?
In your dashboard, open the funded account and choose Request Payout. Every request is reviewed for eligibility before it is paid; we contact you if anything needs attention.
Platform
Trading platform, instruments and market hours.
Which platform do you use?
MetaTrader 5. Your login and server details are sent to you as soon as your account is created.
What can I trade?
Forex pairs, gold, silver, indices and other CFDs. The full symbol list is visible in the platform once you are connected — ask support before buying if you need a specific instrument.
What are the trading hours?
Sunday 22:00 UTC to Friday 22:00 UTC, following the global forex sessions.
Verification & security
Identity checks, eligibility and keeping your account safe.
Do I need to verify my identity?
Yes, before your first payout: a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address. Verification is handled by our identity provider.
Which countries can't sign up?
We cannot serve residents of sanctioned jurisdictions, including Iran, North Korea, Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Syria, Sudan. The full list is in our Terms of Service; contact support before buying if you are unsure.
Can someone else trade my account?
No. Every account must be traded only by its holder. Sharing an account — with a friend, a signal service or a manager — permanently closes all of your accounts.
